Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using any Forjio Studio product or service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, do not use our services.

“Forjio Studio” refers to the software division of Forjio, reachable at hello@forjio.com.

2. Permitted use

You may use our services for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use our services to:

• Distribute malware, phishing content, or deceptive links
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Engage in or facilitate harassment, hate speech, or illegal discrimination
• Circumvent, overload, or attack our infrastructure (including DDoS, scraping at scale, or credential stuffing)
• Create short links that redirect to adult content, gambling, or regulated financial products without appropriate licensing

We reserve the right to remove any link, suspend any account, or terminate access for violations of this section without prior notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Use a strong, unique password
• Do not share your credentials with others
• Notify us immediately at hello@forjio.com if you suspect unauthorized access

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

4. Free tier and paid plans

Free tier accounts are provided as-is, with limits as specified on our pricing pages. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with 30 days' notice.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices are listed in USD. We use Stripe for payment processing; by subscribing you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

• Upgrades — take effect immediately; you are billed a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period
• Downgrades — take effect at the end of the current billing period
• Cancellation — you can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds
• Refunds — we offer refunds within 7 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied. Contact hello@forjio.com.

5. API access

API access is provided subject to the rate limits associated with your plan (see our documentation). You agree not to:

• Circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts or proxies
• Use the API to build a competing URL shortening service that substantially replicates our functionality
• Expose your API key publicly (e.g., in client-side code or public repositories)

We may revoke API access for abuse without prior notice.

6. Intellectual property

All content, software, and features of Forjio Studio products are owned by Forjio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand names.

You retain all rights to the content you submit through our services (the URLs you shorten, the slugs you create). By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, whether planned or unplanned.

We may change, discontinue, or limit features at any time. For significant feature removals, we'll give at least 30 days' notice to affected users.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Forjio Studio products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forjio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Upon termination, your access to paid features ends immediately. Your data is retained for 90 days, during which you can export it. After 90 days, it is permanently deleted.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
