1. Who we are

Forjio Studio is the software division of Forjio (“we”, “our”, “us”). We operate studio.forjio.com and related products including Forjio Studio products (studio.forjio.com). You can reach us at hello@forjio.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to operate our services.

Information you give us

• Email address — when you sign up for a product account or our newsletter
• Account credentials — username and hashed password for product accounts
• Payment information — processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store your card number
• Support correspondence — emails you send us

Information collected automatically

• Usage analytics — pages visited, features used, session duration (via Plausible Analytics — privacy-preserving, no cookies, no cross-site tracking)
• Link click data — for products like Forjio Studio products: timestamp, country (derived from IP), referrer, browser, and device type. Raw IP addresses are not stored.
• Error and performance logs — aggregated technical logs to diagnose and fix issues

What we do not collect

• We do not store raw IP addresses
• We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels
• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
• We do not build behavioral profiles for advertising

3. How we use your information

• To provide our services — creating accounts, processing payments, delivering the product features you signed up for
• To communicate with you — account notifications, product updates (if subscribed), responses to your support requests
• To improve our products — understanding which features are used and where users encounter problems
• To ensure security — detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
• To comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests where required

4. Third-party services

We use a small number of carefully chosen third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-preserving site analytics. No cookies. No personal data collected. Governed by Plausible's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (account notifications, password resets)

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

5. Cookies

studio.forjio.com itself does not use cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design.

Our product applications (e.g. studio.forjio.com) use session cookies strictly necessary for account authentication — these expire when you log out or close your browser. We do not use persistent tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

• Account data — kept for the duration of your account plus 90 days after deletion
• Link analytics— retained for your account's lifetime; deleted when your account is deleted
• Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe (every email includes an unsubscribe link)
• Support emails — retained for up to 2 years for continuity of support

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion— ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Data portability — export your data in a machine-readable format (available from account settings)
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email we send

8. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and least-privilege access controls. Our infrastructure is hosted on reputable cloud providers with SOC 2-compliant data centers.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please email hello@forjio.com and we'll respond quickly.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
